WHAT A GREAT RIDE!

Thanks for joining us on the Eighth Annual Worst Day of the Year Ride presented by SKS Germany! What a great ride. Over 3,000 riders circled the city in support of the Community Cycling Center and it was a great day! Riders showed up in very impressive costumes, the weather was in our favor (once again!) the courses were well marked, the food was excellent and it was a very fun day.

Our special thanks goes to the over 250 volunteers who shared their time with us to keep things in order.

We look forward to seeing you our there next year!

NEXT UP: REACH THE BEACH

If you liked how smoothly thing went on the Worst Day of the Year Ride, we think you'll also love Reach the Beach, another event organized by Good Sport Promotion. Reach the Beach is a fundraiser for the American Lung Association in Oregon and features routes of varying distances, 26-100 miles. Reach the Beach is May 16th and it's simply the best way to tour around the gorgeous countryside of Oregon.

The event features extremely well marked courses, tons of delicious food on course, well stocked rest stops every 12 miles, support vehicles, medical riders, mechanical riders, two lunch stops and a sink-your-toes-in-the-sand finish line party directly on the beach next to the award-winning Pelican Pub and Brewery. Oooo la la!

THE ICY MONKEY REPORT

Our resident meteorologist has been strutting around the office with a smug look on his face ever since Sunday. It's that "I told you so" look. He only wishes he could speak to rub it in our faces that, once again, he accurately predicted we'd have great weather on the ride. Cheeky monkey!
